Safeguarding

St Peter's Thorner is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Benefice Safeguarding officer (BSO), Beckie Briggs.
The Anglican Diocese of Leeds safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding team who advise our PSO.
If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm, please contact our BSO, Beckie Briggs or Jenny Leccardi in the Diocesan Safeguarding team - who can be contacted on: 0113 353 0257 or by email at: [email protected]

If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police or the local authority children or adult social care services.
