Holiday at Home: We are trialing our first Holiday at Home for the Benefice of Allerton Bywater, Kippax and Swillington Allerton Bywater church on Thursday 29th August. Many of us do not or cannot get away for a holiday over the summer or are struggling with the long summer holiday and restless children - so why not have a holiday at home? We are planning to serve the wider community through a fun and relaxed day together which we hope will have something for everyone. Plans so far are for morning coffee with a talk/activity, sandwich lunch, afternoon Messy Church and evening talent show. Could you help? We will need volunteers and folk who might be able to provide entertainment. Hopefully we will be able to provide all of this for no or low cost and if it goes well role it out across the Benefice next year. Please get in touch if you are interested in helping, coming or know of folk who would enjoy one or more of the events. More details in poster above.

St Mary's Swillington

St Mary's Church at Swillington is a welcoming, worshipping community, witnessing to God's love for everyone.

We are in the United Benefice of Allerton Bywater, Kippax and Swillington.
