St Catherine's Tilehurst

We are the Parish church in the Anglican Parish of Tilehurst St. Catherine and Calcot St. Birinus.

The Parish Purpose is to “Worship God and show that Jesus’ love makes a difference in reaching, serving and caring.”

St Catherine’s is a resource for the whole Parish. Through worship St. Catherine’s congregations seek to meet with God and with each other. We seek to respond to the living God active among us.

Our worship is gently Charismatic and using the gifts the Holy Spirit gives us, we minister in the name of Jesus and see people brought to greater wholeness in body, mind and spirit.

We have weekly activities for young people of all ages, as well as those lonely or isolated.  Our Café provides hot meals at affordable prices.

There is a on-going programme of reaching out to the Parish through visiting and prayer request slips.

We love to welcome families into the friendly church family. If you would like to talk about Thanksgiving and Baptism please contact us.

Our parish of Tilehurst: St Catherine and Calcot: Saint Birinus is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO).
