Getting here
Since 1st April 2017 we have been joined with the parishes of Ewelme, Brightwell Baldwin, Cuxham and Easington as the new United Benefice of Benson with Ewelme.
Sunday Services at St Helen's consist of Holy Communion according to the Book of Common Prayer at 8.30am and a Parish Communion using Common Worship at 10am. On third Sundays this service is a Eucharist for the Whole Family of God with greater involvement by children and music led by the church orchestra.
Morning Prayer is said in church on weekday mornings and there is a celebration of Holy Communion at 9.30am on Saturdays.
As well as providing activities for children at the 10am service in the form of FroGs (Friends of God), there is a group for older (secondary school) children which runs on the second and fourth Sunday evenings during term times from 7-9.15pm in the Canons' Room.
Please view the calendar for details of some of the events which run in and around the church as well as special services.
Information about those buried in the main churchyard and the new churchyard on the other side of Church Road can be found using the documents on the right hand side of this page. Please note that whilst records may indicate the names of those buried in the churchyard, not all graves are marked with monuments.
