A multidenominational group from across Harrogate, Ripon and Masham district who meet weekly and focus themselves in contemplative prayer, silent meditations on biblical, introspective and thought provoking subjects, and friendship. The Fellowship is rooted in 1970's Ripon, and has evolved with some remarkable founding members and ultimately, unites in the Light of Christ. Members range in age, background and belief, everyone is made to feel at home within this phenomenal group.

​The Fellowship weekly holds in prayer those prayer requests left at both Ripon Cathedral and at St John’s as a part of their commitment to healing ministry. The first meeting of the month is Eucharistic with Laying of Hands/Anointing for healing.

The first Monday of the month includes Holy Communion and Anointing. This group takes a break typically for Easter, summer and Christmas. Please check the church diary on the main website if in doubt.

We are an inclusive Church of England church at the heart of Sharow, nestled in the benefice of Ripon Cathedral and the Diocese of Leeds. We are living out The Great Commission through regular prayer, beautiful liturgical worship and dedication to helping people fulfil their God-given callings.

We hold regular Sunday worship, Eucharistic services, Celtic worship, Bible Study class, prayer and meditation fellowships, healing and anointing, a thriving bell ringing community shared meals, community coffee mornings and junior choir. Everyone can find their home at St John's.
