We support our local LS26 Community Foodbank which is non-profit organisation. This can be found at the Blackburn Hall in Rothwell and is open Wednesday morning and Wednesday Evening. 

Donations can be left in a box at the back of church during services.  We are told that the items most needed are household cleaning products and personal grooming products, like shampoo, shower gel, soap and toothpaste. These don't have to be branded products. 

Also our friends at Morrisons Supermarket in Rothwell have a collection site. The pick up packs in Morrisons are an easy way to help - choose the one (or two or three) you want, pay at a till, put the bag in the foodbank trolley and that’s it!

Any donation for the foodbank can be left in the trolley - not just pick up bags 🙂 They we can always use egg boxes and carrier bags as well!
