One of the aims of the flower team is to let the church flowers bring back memories of loved ones and happy occasions as we celebrate God’s love with joyfulness, especially at festivals such as Christmas, Easter, Harvest etc.

On Mothering Sunday, children in church hand out small colourful floral tributes to the ladies in the congregation. Weddings, baptisms and funerals allow the team further opportunities to create floral displays, which help to make these occasions memorable ones.

The team also aims to develop links with local groups and churches. Floral arrangements for anniversary independence services are not forgotten, for example, the independence anniversary service for the islands of Nevis and St Kitts. These services also bring together members from different churches.

Our grateful thanks go to members of the congregation who provide flowers in memory of loved ones and to celebrate happy occasions such as birthdays and anniversaries. A photograph of the designated floral arrangement is also given as a memento of the occasion.
