We have an index of burials and location maps from the 1920s onwards. The churchyard is divided into sections which relate to a specific era. We also have four volumes of monumental inscriptions for older graves going back to the 18th century compiled by the Pontefract & District Historical Society.
Our Churchwardens Peter Bloodworth or Stuart Davis can arrange a visit to help you find a grave. Please message via Get in touch on the website.
Older copies of original registers for baptisms, marriages and deaths are now with the West Yorkshire Archive, Nephsaw Lane South, Morley, Leeds, LS27 7SQ. Tel: 0113 5350155 or email [email protected]. Opening times are Tuesday - Thursday 9:30m-4pm and visits will need to be booked in advance.
