We welcomed the Wakefield Festival Chorus in memory of the late Dr Ann Whitfield. We heard performances ranging from Handel, Mozart, Mendelssohn and Rutter. Conductor was James Bowstead, organist Shaun Turnbull and solo soprano Laura Rushdorth. Dr Ann and a Licensed Lay Minister and retired GP and her husband Peter were stalwarts of the Wakefield Festival Chorus.
