We held our annual remembrance service in church and in the churchyard led by Rev Sarah Hancox and Lay Minister Charlotte Taylor. Our villa has two war memorials, a cenotaph in the churchyard with the names of those who died 1914-18, and the 1939-45 memorial inside church alongside the book of remembrance. We hold two Acts of Remembrance for the fallen of the village. During the services wreaths were laid by the British Legion and Cllr Mary Harland attended and laid a wreath on behalf of Leeds City Council. We also had the Methley Rainbows and Brownies attend the service.
