Over the last few years we have been working on a major project with our architect to redesign the building, in church language this is called reordering. As St. Oswald’s is a grade 1 listed building this has been a careful process of looking at what changes can be made without changing the historic features of our beautiful church. 

Following a consultation exercise and more detailed architectural work the Parochial Church Council agreed to support moving to the approvals stage of the process with the Diocese initially and though the normal planning process. 

A video made last year gives some details of the project, and although more details have been worked through the basic proposals are the same. The video can be viewed on the Building Project page of the website. In addition more recent detailed plans can be viewed in church, which is open for services and visitors on a Sunday and Wednesday afternoon.
