During the Pandemic our Church has been closed to visitors this has meant that we have lost valuable income which is desperately needed to allow us to carry on our ministry of welcome and hospitality to everyone in and around Masham. Please would you consider donating money help keep us afloat?https://givealittle.co/campaigns/6320bf16-acbd-45ad-b739-80a4153b5094
In a world gripped with fear, we have a message of hope, joy and peace – one that needs to be heard and proclaimed. In Christ we can be secure in the knowledge that God is with us, both now in this lifetime and in eternity to come. This is Good News when so many are desperately searching for assurance.Last year Christmas couldn’t be the same as normal. But for Christians at least, it’s not about planning the biggest family get-together, buying the most extravagant gifts... it’s about celebrating a series of selfless acts. We held several of our Christmas Carol services outside in various places within our communities. These were well attended and, being outside, we were able to sing carols. Unfortunately it was very cold on Christmas Eve - and we even had to brave a snowstorm! DIY Christingle packs were distributed to primary school children via the school. We have had some lovely feedback about how they enjoyed making them, and some children brought their Christingles to our Christmas services! This year, 2021, we are hoping to return to more normal ways of celebrating - look out for details of our services etc on the parish websitewww.mashamparishes.org Please use the hand sanitiser on entry and when leaving and respect social distancingThank you to all who have and are helping to make this possible with cleaning and stewarding.
