St Agnes United Church

Welcome to St Agnes!

We are a diverse, growing church in Leeds, with people from all ages and backgrounds. We are seeking to deepen our relationship with Jesus through study of the Bible and meeting together in the Eucharist. We serve Burmantofts, an inner city area of Leeds close to St James University Hospital. Our new vicar, Caitlin, started September 2023 and we are excited about the possibilities ahead.

Children and young people are an important part of our congregation. There is a group for children and teenagers each Sunday morning, and our young people have begun to help plan and lead our services. We will grow our provision for teenagers during 2024 -- watch this space! Please get in touch if you would like to know more or register your interest.

We are confidently Anglican. Our worship is contemporary, lively and informal, with preaching and the Eucharist at its heart. We love to sing, learn and receive the sacrament together.

St Agnes is a hub for the local community -- our facilities are used by many local support groups and we run a warm space free cafe each Monday. We are working together to support the health and wellbeing of our community, particularly of migrants and asylum seekers.

Get in touch if you would like to know more.

Come and join our friendly community in 2024!
