We're so excited to combine our All Age Candlemas Service with our Christingle service. We are looking forward to welcoming people to come and make their strange Orange with decorations! The Christingle represents Jesus, the light of the world, and Candlemas is the celebration of Jesus' dedication as a 40 day old baby. But this Baby is the Light of the World - come along to hear more of this amazing baby, Jesus.
This will be a service of about an hour, followed by refreshments.

St Philip’s services are marked by the following:

Anglican roots: liturgically-shaped, lectionary-focused, seasonally-informed

Bi-focal: an emphasis on Word and Sacrament (Holy Communion)

Engaging music: joyful and lively, we sing lots, drawing on a wide repertoire from diverse eras and styles

Informal and real: we want people to feel comfortable and able to connect with God and others. While Anglican, we do not robe.

Welcoming to newcomers: an emphasis on fellowship during and after services, we want people to feel welcome

As a community of Christians, we are committed to three priorities: worship - making Sundays unmissable with Jesus at the centre, refreshing our rhythms of Anglican worship; evangelism - seeking to offer a confident invitation to church and to following Jesus, while increasing our profile and service across the community; and children and young people - serving those in our church, in our schools, and in our community.
