Killinghall: St Thomas the Apostle

St Thomas the Apostle Church in Killinghall is a friendly and welcoming community of Christians. We would be delighted if you would like to join us for worship. Our services are held at 9.30am on the first and third Sundays each month. We celebrate Common Worship Holy Communion with hymns.

On the second Sundays there are Holy Communion services at Felliscliffe Chapel of Ease at 9am and at Birstwith Church at 10.30am

When there is a fifth Sunday there is a benefice service at 10.30am where we meet as a group of churches in one of the four buildings to celebrate Holy Communion. Please check notice boards, magazines or the benefice web site (hfkb.co.uk) to locate the benefice service.

Any questions - please contact the church wardens, Fiona Pepper on 01423 569282 or Sue Macdonald on 07977 878094

Safeguarding

The parish of Hampsthwaite & Killinghall is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer: Josephine Shepherd. The Diocese of Leeds’ safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our Parish Safeguarding Officer.

If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the Parish Safeguarding Officer or the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services.
