We are at last able to commence work on our clerestory windows replacement and repairs to the sills. This will make our church warmer and safer for anyone who uses our building. Phase 1 will start on 22nd April 2024. The PCC would like to express their thanks to The Yorkshire Historical Churches Trust, Garfield Weston Foundation and Leeds Diocesan Board of Finance for their generous grant funding. We would also like to thank members of our local community for donations and help and support of our fund raising activities which we shall continue, to enable us to move on and complete Phases 2 and 3 of this work.Phase 1 is now successfully completed and we are moving on to Phase 2, replastering the interior walls of the nave. We apologise to users of the building during these essential building works.
