About Us

St John's is a family church where we welcome people of all ages and put Jesus Christ at the heart of our community.

We are a worshipping community, passionate in loving Jesus Christ, committed to loving others.

Our Vision is making Disciples who make Jesus known - Roots for Fruits being Growing Leaders, Growing Disciples, Growing Fellowship and Blessing Others.

We have a great team made up of the team rector, Revd Simon Dowson, the curate (team vicar designate) Revd Laura Martin, our young people's worker Emma James, our licensed lay minister, Jan Johnson, our parish administrtor, Gill Clarke,  4 active retired clergy and three church wardens.
