Christingle Service

Christingle is a joyful celebration that brings families and communities together to share the light of Jesus and spread a message of hope. Christingle celebrations are named after the Christingles that are lit during the ceremony. Christingles are oranges wrapped in red tape, decorated with dried fruit or sweets, with a candle on the top.

Nine Lessons and Carols

for 1 hour

This service marks for many people the beginning of Christmas. Get into the festive mood with our nine lessons and carols service.

Crib Service

for 1 hour

This is a service for all the family. Everyone is invited to dress up and help act out the story of Christmas, singing favourite carols along the way. You are invited simply to turn up in costume and join in, and it doesn’t matter if there ten people all dressed as Mary!

Light up a Life

We know that this can be a particularly difficult time of year as we are reminded of loved ones who are no longer with us. Remembering that person at our Light up a Life service can help you through a challenging time of year.

Midnight Mass

for 1 hour
St Michael and St Mary Magdalene, Easthampstead.

This late-night service starts on Christmas eve and ends just after midnight, so you're among the first to celebrate Christmas! Come along and sing some classic Christmas carols as we celebrate the birth of Jesus.

The service lasts about one hour in total. The service contains carols and a short talk, as well as the celebration of Holy Communion (the sharing of bread and wine).
