Prayer Journal Craft & Chat

Occurring
for 2 hours
Venue
St Nicholas Church, Leicester
Address
St Nicholas Church, St Nicholas Circle, Leicester, LE1 4LB, United Kingdom

Prayer Journals are little notebooks people use to record prayers, bits of scripture, who and what they’re praying for, and lots of other things. There are as many styles of journal as there are people!

As well as there being a tradition of giving things up during Lent, there’s also a tradition of taking up a new spiritual practice. Because of it’s flexibility a Prayer Journal is a great one to choose, so why not come and get one started with us, on this first Saturday of Lent?

The event is completely free and all materials will be provided, but if you already own a notebook you’d like to use for this, or have old prayer cards, images, or anything else you’d like to include in your journal, please do bring them along!

Drop in any time between 12:00 and 14:00

The church will remain open after the event, from 14:00 - 16:00 for our regular church opening hours, and there will be a service of Evening Prayer at 15:45. You are welcome to stay as long as you like.
