Getting here

On Foot / By Bicycle

Due to our central location it is easy to walk to St Nicholas Church, with wide pavements all around - just be careful crossing the ring road, and make sure to use one of the many pedestrian crossings!

We wouldn’t recommend leaving your bicycle unattended in our churchyard, but if we are open you are welcome to bring your bicycle inside the building if we have space for it (we almost always do).

By Car

We do not have a car park, and being centrally located, parking on the streets near the church can be difficult

There is on-street parking available behind the church on Holy Bones, with parking restrictions (two hours maximum between 7:30am and 6pm between Monday and Friday).

There are also many car parks nearby. If you are coming to our 6:30pm Sunday service the cheapest option is currently one of the Highcross Car Parks, which offer parking for £2.50 between 5pm and 6am.

By Bus

There are many bus stops within a two minute walk of the church.

The nearest bus stop is St Nicholas Circle stand FA, which is directly outside the church, and doesn’t even require you to cross the road. This stop is regularly served by many busses, including numbers 13, 18, 20, 50, 51, 104, 148, 153, 158, 162, and the Hospital Hopper.

By Train

We are a 20 minute walk from Leicester Railway Station. If this walk is too long, don’t worry, busses travel directly from the Railway Station to bus stops by the Church. These busses include the Hospital Hopper, which stops directly outside the church - you don't even need to cross the road!
