St. Michael and All Angels is an outward looking, inclusive church with a strong sense of community with the Eucharist as its heartbeat. The Eucharists are within the Common Worship format. We have two Sunday services, the 8.30am being a quiet Said Service and the 10.00am being a Sung Service set within a liturgical framework which is used creatively to allow imaginative worship with incense used nine times a year. At present, our sung Eucharists are not as full, or as frequent, as pre-pandemic, but congregational singing has now resumed, with the choir present once a month. On the second Sunday of the month we have "Gathered Round", an All Age, more informal Eucharist. We have a robed choir and our music is drawn from a wealth of traditions making full use of both organ and piano. During the week there is a Said Eucharist at 10.30am on Tuesdays in the Lady Chapel. All our services are offered as gateways into a richer experience of God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. All can expect a warm welcome, the presence of God and a good cuppa! Most services are now being live-streamed.
