Occurring
Tuesday 11 March 2025, Tuesday 18 March 2025, Tuesday 25 March 2025, Tuesday 01 April 2025, Tuesday 08 April 2025 Tuesday at for 1 hour
Venue
St. Faith’s Community Hub
Address
St. Faith’s Community Hub, Gayton Road King’s Lynn Norfolk, PE30 4DZ, United Kingdom

I am looking forward to leading some Lent groups on Tuesday mornings in the Hub, based around the Christ in the Wilderness paintings by the 20th Century British artist, Stanley Spencer and the book by the Archbishop of York, Stephen Cottrell.

I have found lots of his thinking in the book absolutely fascinating and would love to share it with you.
The sessions are planned for March 11th, 18th, 25th and April 1st and 8th(i.e. not in Holy Week itself.) Each session will be ‘stand alone’, looking at a different painting, so there is no problem if you can’t commit to all of them. The plan is to start at 10.30 a.m. with coffee and finish promptly at 11.30..

· Serving the community around us demonstrating love in action

We are called to be:

· A visible presence reaching out into the community in God’s love

· A place of welcome and belonging

· A centre of mission whereby living out the gospel we are agents of change for social justice and action

As a silver award eco church we seek to find ways to care for Creation
