Our music tradition at St. Faith’s is longstanding and remains very popular - our choir meets in church every Friday at 7pm. We have a lot of fun and enjoy singing together on Sunday mornings at the 9.45am service as well as at other times. New members are always welcome. Come and join us - singing is good for you!

St. Faith’s regular coffee morning is held in Gaywood Church Rooms next to the church on the first Saturday of the month 10am to 12 noon. In addition to hot drinks, homemade cakes and good company there are also stalls selling craft items, books and food. There is also a tombola stall and raffle. All proceeds go to supporting St. Faith’s.

A warm welcome is offered to people of all ages - it’s a great place to catch up with old friends or maybe meet new ones.

Join us for our February Bible study group - running for 5 weeks, each week being a stand alone study looking at "Themes from the Gospel of Luke". Saturday afternoons 3-4pm. Everyone is welcome to come to whichever weeks they can.

Refreshments are available and resources are provided but you might like to bring your own Bible with you.

Held in the Morning Chapel, a small congregation gather for this said service in traditional language. All are welcome (and if you haven’t attended before - we announce the page numbers as we go through the service).

Our regular Sunday morning service is Holy Communion. As an LEP we hold Anglican and Methodist services each month with a joint church family. Our worship is varied and joyful - we have a choir and very talented organists who can raise the roof with their playing! Everyone is most welcome and our stewards will be only too pleased to offer you any assistance you need to feel right at home.

We have a children and families area in church with toys and activities for young children.

St. Faith’s also has wheelchair access.

St. Faith’s Youth Group is for 10-18 year olds. This lively bunch meet at 6pm on the first Sunday of the month for games, discussions, food and prayer. Every Monday and Thursday morning at 8.30am for half an hour. Join us in a time of prayer using Common Worship Daily Prayer. We meet in the morning chapel to pray together for our church and community.

Drop in after the 10am service for a hot drink and some company. Our welcome will be as warm as our drinks! Everyone is welcome.

The Forget-me-not Lunch Club is a lunch club for the elderly that meets weekly on a Wednesday in Gaywood Church Rooms at 12noon. (Term time only) Guests have the opportunity to get out of their home, socialise and enjoy some delicious, home-made food.

The craft group meets on the 1st Thursday of the month 2-4pm in the St. Faith’s Community Hub. Please come and join us and bring along your art/ craft project, share skills, learn new ones and chat over a cuppa or just come along to pick up new ideas. Everyone welcome.

Faith in Community Mental Health Support Group has been set up in direct response to a growing need for a safe and compassionate space dedicated to overcoming loneliness and isolation.

The group is run by experienced facilitators and built on the foundation of shared experiences, empathy, and mutual support, where every voice is heard and valued. Together, we'll explore strategies to combat loneliness, nurture positive relationships, and rebuild a sense of community. This is a place to connect, heal, and grow alongside others who truly understand.

The group runs on alternate Fridays, all year round, 10am to 12noon. Everyone is welcome to drop in for a cuppa and a chat.

The regular evening service is on the 2nd and last Sundays of the month at 6.30pm in either the Anglican or Methodist tradition - it is a popular service and all are welcome.

This new group is for anyone who would like to learn to pray Mary’s prayer. Rosary beads and how to cards are provided and we pray together for our local community and our world in a reflective way. Everyone is welcome.

Bumper Book Fair in Gaywood Church Rooms on Saturday 15th Feb 10am to 2pm - lots of books, jigsaws, homemade refreshments, children's storytimes.

Children (and adults too!) are invited to come along dressed as their favourite character from a book - with a prize for the best costume!

Bishop Jane, Bishop of Lynn and Paul Critchley Methodist Superintendent will be with us for the special service of confirmation of our candidates. If you are interested in being confirmed, please get in touch with Revd Kyla.

This joyous celebration will be followed by refreshments in the church rooms.

Pancake Day, or Shrove Tuesday, is the traditional feast day before the start of Lent on Ash Wednesday. Join us at St. Faith’s Community Hub for a pancake party like no other! Lots of yummy home cooked pancakes with sweet and savoury fillings. Hot drinks and squash for the children. Gluten free available. Drop in for FREE - although donations towards costs are always welcome. Lots of fun and good food for everyone.

Ash Wednesday is one of the most popular and important holy days in the liturgical calendar.

Often called the Day of Ashes, Ash Wednesday starts Lent by focusing the Christian’s heart on repentance and prayer, usually through personal and communal confession. This happens during a unique Ash Wednesday service.

The ashes are made from the blessed palms used in the Palm Sunday celebration of the previous year.

Join us at 10am or at 6.30pm for the Ash Wednesday service with the imposition of ashes.

I am looking forward to leading some Lent groups on Tuesday mornings in the Hub, based around the Christ in the Wilderness paintings by the 20th Century British artist, Stanley Spencer and the book by the Archbishop of York, Stephen Cottrell.

I have found lots of his thinking in the book absolutely fascinating and would love to share it with you.
The sessions are planned for March 11th, 18th, 25th and April 1st and 8th(i.e. not in Holy Week itself.) Each session will be ‘stand alone’, looking at a different painting, so there is no problem if you can’t commit to all of them. The plan is to start at 10.30 a.m. with coffee and finish promptly at 11.30..

Join us for our popular Spring Fair in Gaywood Church Rooms on Saturday 18th 2-4pm. Lots of stalls, tombola and raffle as well as refreshments - home made cakes and burgers and hot dogs too. A great afternoon out - a chance to catch up with old friends and perhaps make some new ones!

We meet on the 4th Thursday of the month at 5-6pm for Christian contemplation and meditation. All are welcome to join this quiet space for an opportunity to reflect.
