About Us

St Frideswide's is an open, responsive, optimistic congregation which meets on Sundays at 9.15am at Water Eaton Church Centre. 

In September 2017 Revd Catherine Butt was appointed as Vicar, bringing with her a small 'transplant' team from St Mary's Bletchley. As a newly blended congregation we hope to increase the capacity for ministry and mission in our parish, and develop the faith and gifts of our fellowship.

Our Sunday services are usually 'All Age' - with the hope that each person, at whatever stage of life or faith, can encounter the love and power of God in worship. We usually share communion as a way of retelling and reconnecting with the truth of Jesus' life, death and resurrection and what it means for us today.

St Frideswide's shares Water Eaton Church Centre with Spurgeon's Baptist Church. Both congregations maintain their own traditions for worship, but come together at major festivals and other special events for joint worship and fellowship. We collaborate in local mission and outreach programmes where relevant and practical, and make the facilities of the Church Centre and Galilee Gardens available to the local community.
