About Us

St. Botolph's is a friendly, traditional Church of England church. The main entrances are on Lansdowne Road, Worthing, but there is also a rear entrance on Manor Road, which is used for many events.

There is a weekly Parish Eucharist (Sung) at 10am each Sunday, a said Service of Holy Communion on the first Wednesday of the month at 11.00am, and a Prayer Meeting in the Lady Chapel each Friday at 10am. In addition, the St Botolph Room is open as 'A Place of Welcome' every Friday, 10.30am - 12 noon, offering tea, coffee, home-made cakes & savouries, and above all, friendship and fellowship.

We offer a monthly Messy Church for children & their families, as well as those with special educational needs and those of senior years. This is held at the nearby Heene Church Rooms, 106 Heene Road, Worthing BN11 4PN.

The church has a strong musical tradition, including a fine RSCM-affiliated choir which leads the music at services on a Sunday morning and on major holy days and festivals. We are also blessed to be one of few churches locally with a tower of eight bells, and our skilful and enthusiastic bellringing team ring for about half an hour before each Sunday Eucharist, as well as on special occasions.

The church hosts a number of concerts throughout the year, while various community groups regularly make use of the St Botolph Room adjoining the church.
