Reymerston: St Peter

You are very welcome to our church of St Peter in Reymerston. It has been at the centre of the village for nearly 1000 years and is still very much part of the community proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ and serving our community. The church is always open for visitors and for private prayer. Services are usually held on the second Sunday of each month at 11am, and on the Sundays in between services are held at the other churches in our wider group of 15 village parishes (www.groupof15.org.uk ).

The Church lies in the middle of the village behind the village hall. Parking is on the road outside the church. In winter bring a torch as there are no street lights. There are no toilets in the church unfortunately but there is a toilet at the village hall and access can be given by asking any of the church helpers. Refreshments are usually available after most services & we have a dedicated Children's Corner for children to play in and out of service times.

If you would like to help us in our work of service to the community and the upkeep of our medieval church, you can donate through our website www.groupof15.org.uk or give through DONATE at

http://easydonate.org/HYDF004 or  text 70970 HYDF004 to donate £5 or  text 70191 HYDF004 to donate £10.

Fundraising, payments and donations will be processed and administered by the National Funding Scheme (Charity No: 1149800), operating as DONATE. Texts will be charged at your standard network rate. For Terms & Conditions, see www.easydonate.org

Safeguarding

Our parish of St Peter is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). Our Diocese of Norwich’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the PSO at [email protected] or the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor on 01603 882345 [email protected]. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services.
