About Us
Our Story
Euston Church was born in September 2010 when around 40 people were planted from St Helen’s, Bishopsgate, with a vision to be labourers for Jesus in this exciting harvest field. We’ve experienced so many answers to prayer as the Lord has provided every detail and resource we have needed as we seek to serve him.
We began meeting in a lecture theatre in the UCL School of Pharmacy but, in the kindness of God, Euston Church has gradually grown and over the years we’ve needed to move to bigger venues. In 2015, the trustees of Christ the King, Gordon Square offered the use of their building for Euston Church. This is an amazing provision of a much more public and regular space for the ministry and we’ve seen students, workers, and families come to new life in Jesus and grow in faith in him.
We long to see the name of Jesus go out from this place to change lives and eternities in London and around the world. To God be the glory!
Our Beliefs
We uphold the teaching of the three creeds, the articles of religion of the Church of England and the Book of Common Prayer. We believe the Biblical gospel, and in particular our ministry is driven by the following core convictions:
Jesus Christ lived, died and rose in history in accordance with the Scriptures; he reigns with the Father and one day will return in glory;
Jesus has commanded that his awesome gospel of repentance and forgiveness of sins must be proclaimed, and disciples made, in every corner of the planet;
Jesus’ kingdom is built through the ministries of the word and prayer in the context of local church families living lives of worship and love;
By the power of his Spirit, all of God’s people have a vital part to play in growing the body of Christ.
