About Us
In 1987 the five parishes of Islip, Noke, Woodeaton, Charlton-on-Otmoor and Oddington were united into a single benefice. In 2001 this benefice was combined with that of Ambrosden, Merton and Piddington to form the Ray Valley Benefice under a single rector.
The post of rector to the Benefice is currently vacant, but we hope to fill the vacancy by summer 2025.
During this time of Interregnum, we are fortunate to have two retired clergy, Reverend Lisa Holmes (Ambrosden) and Reverend Canon Brian Mountford (Islip) who are assisting with services across the Benefice. There are other retired clergy in the area who kindly help out when needed.
