If you live in the Church parish of Old Catton (which is bigger than the civil parish), then you have the right to be married and have your children baptised at St Margaret's.
The parish runs north of the Ring Road, and includes Fiddlewood, Ives Road, and Fifers Lane up to Cromer Road on the West. On the East it includes part of White Woman Lane, as well as Desmond Drive, Longe Road, part of Proctor Road, Sywell Close and Billing Close, parts of Moore Avenue, and runs down to North Walsham Road.
As the law stands at present, if you both live outside the parish and wish to be married at St Margaret's, you will have to speak to the Vicar to discuss whether you have what is called a qualifying connection or if one can be established through attendance at church services.
If you would like to be married at St Margaret's we welcome your enquiry and will do all we can to make it a wonderful and joyous occasion.
The Church of England has agreed that marriage in church is possible after divorce, and we would be glad to talk about it with you.
Enquiries about baptisms and weddings should be directed to the Vicar
