Experience Easter is the story of Easter from Palm Sunday through Holy Week to the Resurrection using “stations of Easter” set out across the churches. The materials are aimed at primary schools, although suited to all ages.

The children of Church Broughton Church of England Primary School recently visited St Michael's Church to learn about the story of Easter, which was very well received.

A big thank you to all the volunteers who spent the day in church with the school children, a class at a time. A long and busy day, but with the bonus of being invited to join the school children and staff for lunch which was greatly appreciated.

The following day, Rev Ed led the school on a Good Friday walk from the school to the church, finishing with a short service after which some of the children helped the Churchwarden strip the Holy Table (Altar).
