Where is your hope in 2025? What does it look like?
Wishful thinking, dreaming, manifesting, praying?

If you want to talk about hope, what it might mean for you, come and bring your questions to explore together something we all need and long to see realised.

We're meeting at St Nicholas Church Hall on three consecutive Thursday evenings, from 7.30pm, starting on the 16th January, looking at these and other questions about life through the Hope Course. I can't guarantee we will all come away with the answers to our own unique questions but there is something powerful in journeying together in our search for the deepest and most meaningful things of life.

As Jesus often said, "come and see".

Everyone welcome to come along to the Church Hall for food and friendship. During winter months we serve soup and there are always hot drinks and a selection of sweet treats available. You can swap books and puzzles or just come for a natter.

The River Idle Benefice proudly presents our baby n Toddler groups "Little Lambs". We currently run in Bawtry on a Tuesday 09:30 - 11:30 in the church hall and Everton Village hall on a Friday 09:00 - 11:00. Parents, Carers, Grand Parents are all invited to our safe, comfortable sessions.
All the leaders are DBS checked, at each group we offer snacks and refreshments to everyone. We are a church of England led group who hold tight to our Christian beliefs. We share a bible story and songs in each session.

Through this five week course over Lent, we'll discover together the reality that being an apprentice is a lifetime, full time occupation and the most exciting and satisfying use of our lives. We'll look at aspects of the Jewish which framed the gospel narratives, aspects of the culture such as the celebration feasts, sharing meals, the way rabbis and their disciples lived, how Jesus viewed the law, to make the gospel narratives more three dimensional than we often view them.

We seek to be a church that serves our community, loving our neighbours as ourselves, and so we meet every Monday following the Sunday Holy Communion service from 9am for about half an hour.
Prayer is informal, everyone is welcome, to pray with us or ask for prayer - we look forward to seeing welcoming you!

Enjoy seasonal refreshment as you create your own Christmas wreath in this historic setting, with help onhand if you need it! Please bring your own secateurs and gloves. All natural Eco garden materials provided, including the wreath. We are fully sustainable and do not use plastic.
