A reflective service with communion
A traditional service of ‘said’ Holy Communion.
Our popular lent lunches return to the Dell Centre at St Giles' church each Thursday from 13 March. Please join us as we share in a simple lunch of ham & cheese with rolls, pickles and chutney and accompaniments.
We ask for a donation of £6 or more (payable by cash or card on the day). There will also be cakes available to enjoy for a further small donation of around £1. This year we are collecting for The Food Bank.
No need to book in advance just come along between 12.15 and 1.15pm. Do invite neighbours and friends along to support, everyone is welcome.
Join us as a family as we read, pray and reflect on the Easter story. Suitable for families with children aged 3-14 (younger siblings are welcome). There will also be Good Friday craft and fish finger supper to follow.
This event will be charged at £2 per person to cover the cost of the food. So please book a space if you would like to eat with us (adult or child) and let us know if you would prefer not to eat and just come for the refection service.
A special and profound Good Friday church service in which Stainer's iconic choral work, The Crucifixion, will be used to narrate the events of Maundy Thursday and Good Friday. It is comprised of sacred music for choir and organ, and well-known congregational hymns. The solos will be sung by renowned professionals: Jeff Stewart (tenor) and Kieran Rayner (bass).

A relaxed all age service with a live band & SGSG Kids
The Choral VI at St Giles' Church celebrates our rich choral heritage, and we follow the book of common prayer with music led by our robed choir. We welcome guest speakers occasionally, special services as well as seasonal hospitality after the service. The Choral VI offers a sanctuary of peace in an ever-changing world. Do come and see for yourself.
There are no groups or activities for children or young people at this service.
