Getting here
Welcome to the parish church of Torpoint: St James in the Anglican Diocese of Truro and County of Cornwall England.
If you are travelling from Plymouth the most direct route to us is via the Torpoint Ferry. When you disembark, please follow the road around and as you drive up Harvey Hill, you will see the church on your left. There is parking in front and behind the church.
If you are driving up from cornwall, follow signs for Torpoint on the A374. Once you enter Torpoint, follow Antony Road down toward Torpoint town centre. You will pass the secondary school, and Fire station on your right. Continue to follow Antony road, and you will pass Sainsbury's and an Esso garage on your left and come to a set of trafficlights just before the post office (this is the beginning of Harvey Hill). Go through these traffic lights and at the next set of trafficlights turn right on to Elliot Square. The Church is on your left.
