Lent 2025 begins with a Service of Holy Communion at 7pm on Ash Wednesday, 5th March 2025. Please join us at St Ambrose Church in Grindleton for this service which will include the opportunity for "Ashing", the cross is marked on our foreheads using the ashes of burnt palm crosses.
Please join us for a Eucharist/Holy Communion Service using the Common Worship Service Book.
On the third Sunday in the month you are very welcome to join us for a Eucharist Service using the Common Worship Service Book starting at 4:30pm in the afternoon.
Please join us for a United Service for Mothering Sunday! All three churches in the Bowland Benefice are coming together at St Ambrose Church in Grindleton for a special service to honour, support and encourage mothers and caregivers throughout our area and beyond. The service starts at 10:30am with chance for a cuppa and a chat afterwards.
The special service for Palm Sunday starts at 9:30am with the blessing and distribution of palms crosses for us all to take home and keep ~ please do join us!
We mark Maundy Thursday with a service of Solemn Eucharist followed by the symbolic stripping of the altar at 7pm on Maundy Thursday, 17th April 2025 taking place at St Ambrose Church in Grindleton.
On Good Friday we meet at Bolton By Bolwand Church at 10am for a special All Age Service and the making of the Easter Garden; please join us if you can!
A Devotional Service for Good Friday starting at 2pm here at St Mary the Virgin, Gisburn when we gather for a service of prayers and bible readings to mark the last dark hour by the Cross.
Please join us for a special Evening Service at 4:30pm on Easter Day, 20th April 2025 as we celebrate the joy of Easter ~ "Jesus Christ Is Risen Today, Alleluia!"

Maps at £7.50 per person are available from the village churches and gardens. The gardens and churches are open from 11am to 5pm on Saturday, 22nd June and 11am to 4pm on Sunday, 23rd June 2024
