A traditional service of Holy Communion on Maundy Thursday. We will re-enact Jesus' washing of his disciples' feet on the night before he died, and recall his institution of what we call Holy Communion- "do this in remembrance of me". The service will end quietly with the altar stripped and the church dark, ready for Good Friday.
