Lent is a time for study and reflection and the Bicester Benefice will be supporting and using the Diocesan course Come and See in Lent 2025. This year, the theme is Earth, Water, Wind and Fire - Understanding Baptism. Groups will meet weekly on Mondays from 3rd March to 7th April in St Edburg’s (7.30 pm), St Mary’s, Launton (2.30 pm), and on Thursdays at 7.30 pm from 6th March to 10th April at Hope Church which meets in The Perch Eco-Business Centre, Elmsbrook OX27 8BL. If you wish to come to one of the groups please contact the Church Office email: [email protected]; phone: 01869 323458.
It is also possible to take part individually. If you register on the the Oxford Diocese website https://www.oxford.anglican.org/come-and-see/ you will receive a daily email with a bible reading and reflection and a weekly email from Bishop Steven. There are also options for children and families which can be accessed through the same link.
