A service of Holy Communion with an interactive, engaging sermon.
Our main service of the week, as we gather together to celebrate Holy Communion. We sing hymns, listen to readings from the Bible, and hear a sermon that encourages us in our faith. Those who are baptized and would normally receive Communion in their own churches (of any denomination) are welcome to do so here. On the first Sunday of the month this is specifically an 'All-Age service,' but all people are welcome at all of our services. There is usually Sunday school on the second and fourth Sundays of the month.
A service of Evensong according to the Book of Common Prayer. This service commences at 6pm April - October, and 3pm November - March. On the fourth Sunday of the month the service is held at St Peter's Owlswick
For some special feast days the service may be moved to St Peter's Owlswick, so please check out website.
A special service for all those who may find may this season difficult or painful, or who wish to worship in solidarity with them.
The service includes prayers, Bible readings, music, and times of quiet and reflection, as we prepare for Christmas by both acknowledging our sadnesses, and embracing the hope that God offers us in the birth of Jesus Christ his Son.
