Special moments such as when Will laid down his stole. The party afterwards where gifts were presented - a very special bird watchers telescope (a 'spotting scope' that can zoom in on Will's feathered friends that he intends to see more of in his retirement), John Lewis vouchers and a handcrafted decorative artefact with a cross surmounted by a crown of thorns, to remind them of the cross and crown of thorns at St Stephens. It was lovely to have their two grown up daughters present on flying visits from France and Italy. The St Bartholomews choir (Lower Basildon) sung two items and Roz and Rosemary led some worship on guitar and recorder, as well as hymns led by the organ. We shall miss Roz' contribution to our worship as well as Will's ministry. Will and Roz are moving to Gloucester.
