Alpha Invitations for Alpha beginning at the end of January are now in St Eds. If you know of anyone who might be interested or if this is the right time for them please take an invitation for them. Please pray as we embark on another exciting Alpha journey.

Baptism we look forward to Emmy’s baptism today (22nd) at Mustard Tree Church. Please pray for her as she takes this exciting step.

29th January is a fifth Sunday. The 11.15am service will be a celebration of Light and will feature the Presentation of Jesus in the Temple (Candlemas)

Harold Underwood’s funeral is at St Ed’s on Friday 10th February at 1:30pm

Children’s Society collection in addition to the donations at the Christingle service we also gave out collecting candles to have at home for notes and loose change. These can be returned by 29th January to add to the total. Thank you.

Lent begins on Ash Wednesday, 22nd February. There will be services at St Ed’s at 10.30am and 7.00pm

The Week of Prayer for Christian Unity 2023 is 18th to 25th January. This will be reflected in our worship and our prayers during this week. The theme this year is the pursuit of racial justice by and amongst the churches.

For this Week of Prayer for Christian Unity we are guided by the churches of Minneapolis as we seek to explore how the work of Christian unity can contribute to the promotion of racial justice across all levels of society.
