Thank you! To everyone who helped to decorate the church for Easter, especially Margaret Miller. It is great to see the church ready for the celebration of Jesus’ resurrection. Also we have had Passover bread from Jerusalem in the Holy Land for our services. Thanks also to Frances for renewing the roadside Easter Garden, & Mustard Tree Church for the altar front

Easter Sunrise service at 5.30am at St Ed’s – please join us for this very special short service at dawn on Easter Day

May Fair 2nd May 11am – 4pm items for the stalls would be greatly appreciated : raffle prizes, liquids of all kinds in bottles and jars for the bottle tombola, toys, bric-a-brac, good clothes and books.

Bibles for the Junior School If you would like to contribute to the Year 5’s Bibles, please pass your donation to Rev Paul.

Ukraine

As part of our response to the crisis we are meeting in church every weekday morning to pray, 8.45am to 9.15am. Everyone welcome.

We are also supporting the Christian Aid Appeal for Ukraine. Please make donations either in St Ed’s using the bucket or envelopes, or making a donation online, using the details below:-

We also have details where clothes etc. can be taken at the back of St Ed’s.

Hexachordia returns! They will be playing at St Peter’s Ringland on Saturday 30th July. Tickets will be on sale soon. We are delighted they will be returning.

Christian Aid Week is 15th to 21st May. Envelopes can be passed to neighbours, family and friends and returned to church and other addresses. We have been supporting the Ukraine Christian Aid Appeal. Christian Aid’s ongoing work helps the very poorest people in the world. If you are interested in delivering enveloped, please let Paul Scarff or Rev Paul know.

Our Parishioners meeting and APCM will be at St Ed’s on Monday 23rd May at 7.00pm. Churchwarden and PCC Nominations forms are available at the back of church. In the event of an election, postal votes will be available this year.
