New Rural Dean Rev Tim Yau has been appointed as the new Rural Dean for Norwich North. Tim is the Interim Associate Priest in the Sprowston & North Norwich Team Ministry. He has wide experience in enabling churches to grow (he has spoken at our APCM in the past), and is involved in Connect Norwich, the network that links churches across the city. Tim will be Licensed in March.

Our ministry we have much to give thanks for this week as Prayer Spaces, our home visits, Home Communions, visits to Care Homes and school visits have all begun again. Please pray for our ministry and outreach.

Janet Ransom’s service to give thanks for her life and faith is at St Ed’s on Wednesday 5th February at 1.00pm.

Rosemary Cuff’s service will be at St Ed’s on Monday 3rd February at 1.00pm

Rachel’s Operation will take place, God willing, on Sunday 16th February. Rev Paul will be off work for a month to look after her until Sunday 16th March. Many thanks to our ministry team and to our Church Wardens for covering this time. Any help at St Ed’s during this time would be very welcome, Please pray for Rachel’s recovery.

The organ has been successfully dismantled. It is hoped to return sometime after Easter. I am hoping that our APCM in May can be a time of thanksgiving and celebration for the answers to our prayers, and a renewing of our vision for the building.

Christingle Collection candles and envelopes to support the work of the Children’s Society can be returned to church up to Sunday 26th January.
