Safeguarding Sunday is today (17th). We will be highlighting the importance of Safeguarding in our services, especially in the light of the events and disclosures this week. I am very grateful to all our team and congregation members who have shared thoughts and reflections, and supported one another in this difficult and traumatic time. I believe it emphasises the importance of responsibility to one another and to everyone who comes into our church community. How the church is called to be a place of safety, of healing and wholeness. Also how we need to support one another, to pray for one another, and to share the grace, love and forgiveness of Jesus. Rev Paul

Tony Dryden’s service will be a thanksgiving celebration of Tony’s life on Saturday 14th December at St Ed’s. Our prayers are with Jane and the family.

Bibles for Junior School we are buying Bibles for the Year 3’s who are coming to St Ed’s on 11th December. If you would like to donate for this there is an envelope in the vestry in St Eds.

Gill Whitehead is doing very well, after being taken ill last week at the remembrance service. She was brought home the same day and is being looked after at home. Thank you to everyone for your prayers and concern.
