Bibles for the Junior School we are hoping to present Bibles to the Year 3’s again this year just before Christmas. They are £5.50 each and are always greatly appreciated. If you would like to make a donation there is an envelope in the vestry.
The East Window has been removed and will return in February. The angels at the top do not need treating, but will be cleaned when the rest of the window returns. We have been using the boarded up window as a prayer aid this week to think of those whose lives have been devastated by war, poverty or the hurricane. The angels at the top that remain are a wonderful reminder that the Lord’s power and love always remain. He is sovereign.
Shoeboxes we have leaflets in church. This year’s video is available to watch on the Blythswood Care website and is incredibly moving. Please watch the video to see what the shoeboxes are achieving. Please give a leaflet to your friends if you think they will be interested. The shoebox services will be on 3rd November. We will also have a time in church to put shoeboxes together on Wednesday 30th October from 2,00pm. If you would like to bring items for this please place them at the back of church.
Treasurer we need a new Treasurer. Granville is stepping down. If you feel the Lord is calling you to this vital role in our ministry, please let Rev Paul know.
