Parking at St Eds Due to the amount of rain we have had in the last day or two, you won't be surprised to hear, it's no longer safe to use the grass beside the church for parking so this is now closed until the Spring 2024.
On Sunday mornings parking will be available at the Junior School car park opposite the school entrance in Taverham Road together with the layby nearby. There is also parking at Taverham Village Hall and on Sandy Lane.
Please only use the church driveway for dropping people off and for those who have difficulty walking.
Shoeboxes Our Shoebox Sunday will be 29th October. Leaflets are now in church. We will be having a time in church on Wednesday 25th October to make shoeboxes together, from 12.00pm until 3.00pm. Everyone is welcome to come and help!
There will be an additional 8.00am service on 29th October as it is a fifth Sunday. The 11.15am service will be a Service of the Word

St Martin's Housing Trust. Donations for Christmas presents for residents would be gratefully received. Toiletries please, in particular shampoo, shower gel, roll on deodorants and new flannels. Cursillo forthcoming Norwich Cursillo, which runs from 23rd to 25th November. It's held at The Pleasance, at Overstrand, and the cost for the three days is only £50. Leaflets are in St Eds.
Deanery Synod: There is a vacancy for a member of St Edmund’s on Deanery Synod. The synod meets about three times a year. If you would like to know more about the workings of the synod please speak to Deidre Porter, Stella Noons or Paul Seabrook.
Christmas Day: if you are going to be on your own for Christmas Day and would enjoy sharing the company of Stella Noons, you are invited to come and have lunch with her at 43 Laburnum Avenue. Please let Stella know if you would like to join her.
