About Us

Beautifully restored, this is a church with Anglo Catholic furnishings and a series G brass, together with a large pieta as a memorial to the Maori dead of the First World War.

Traditional services -During interregnum will be less frequent. Holy Communion and Evensong will be occasional with an opportunity to join other parishes for a United Benefice Service monthly.  Small village; small, welcoming congregation; friendly. Lovely view over Otmoor.

14th Century preaching cross (rarely complete); 13C tower; 14C Chancel; 1810 porch; nave extensively restored in 1884-6.

Oddington is one of the 8 Parish churches in the Ray Valley Benefice.

The post of Rector to the Benefice is currently vacant but we hope to fill the vacancy by summer 2025.

During this time of Interregnum, we are fortunate to have two retired clergy, Reverend Lisa Holmes (Ambrosden) and Reverend Canon Brian Mountford (Islip) who are assisting with services across the Benefice. There are other retired clergy in the area who kindly help out when needed.
