Thirty people from a wide local area heard Tony Atkinson give an inspiring and spellbinding talk in the church on Tuesday 14th October, about bats, their history, life cycle and amazing abilities .  What Tony doesn't know about bats is not worth knowing.  At the end of his talk, right on cue as the lights went back on, two bats flew around the church, giving us an impromptu aerial acrobatic display (sorry, pun not intended).  Further talks, walks and bat box building workshops will be held in Spring 2022.  Many thanks to Tony, and to Tamar Valley AONB for helping to fund this and future  events
