The church was packed for the return to St Sampson's of renowned local Shanty band Barrett's Privateers. Old favourites and some new songs plus a spirited rendering of 'Trelawny' made for a great evening at the church. Pasties, beer and cider were served by suitably dressed pirates and the whole evening raised over £1000 for the St Samson's Unlocked project. Huge thanks to Barrett's Privateers for their support.
