Fund raising for the church roof

It costs a lot to keep our lovely little church running.  Just the cost of insurance comes to £88 a month. We are very grateful for all the support we get in meeting these bills. 

We are finding that the frequent cost of roof repairs as the slates age and the nails fail is more than we can afford. Our fund raising is focused on building up enough money to then be able to ask for grants to help reroof the church. This is going to be a big challenge for us and we really appreciate any help we get. There will be a number of fund raising events over the summer which will be publicised here and in the parish magazine and on local noticeboards.
