A massif earthquake in Thailand, with thousands dead and many, many more injured or made homeless. And still, the people affected by the earthquakes in Syria and Turkey are in need of help. Please don't forget the continuing war In Ukraine, and the ongoing crisis in Gaza and Israel.
These and others are disasters of epic proportions and the people involved; the injured, those made homeless, children orphaned, the traumatised and all those trying to rescue and help the victims, are in desperate need of our help.
DEC, the Disasters Emergency Committee, a group of leading charities, have pooled resources to help in events such as these.
