Even in a relatively wealthy parish such as North Petherwin, there are people who need help, be it because they are old and lonely, or just lonely, because they can't afford to pay for heating their homes and are living in freezing conditions, because they are hungry, because they are suffering from depression, because they need help for other reasons.

We all have neighbours, and nearby there may just be someone who could do with your help. Christmas can be the happiest time of the year for many but for others it can be anything but that. So please keep a look out.

For some, our Blue Christmas event may be just the thing to brighten up their lives. It is held on Monday 23rd December at 4 pm in St Paternus Church. You can download the poster here to display or pass on to someone who you think may be interested.
